This Lent Share the Comfort of God’s Love, Unfolded For Us in the Passion of Jesus
The Passion According to John is read each year as the centerpiece of the Good Friday liturgy.
John’s presentation of Jesus in this account is quite different from that of Mark, Matthew and Luke, for it tells us who Jesus is.
For John, Jesus is the revelation of God’s love for the world, the “word made flesh” whose death is an act of friendship love, a sign of God’s total embrace of humanity and the final triumph over evil.
You are invited to join Monsignor Prior in preparing for the Pascal Triduum by delving more deeply into this masterful blend of suffering and triumph that reveals the “full extent” of our Lord’s love for each of us.
Presenter: Monsignor John G. Prior
Tuesday evening, 7:30-9:00 PM February 28th; March 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th
